I have been working a lot on connecting with myself, with my creative side. I was finally able to recognize that I do have ( we all do in fact) a creative side that manifests itself in different ways.
Lately it has been through writing poems and songs, some in Spanish, some in English, some simple, some more complex, some for kids, some for everyone (although maybe kids find them boring).
I will share them with you in the form in which they come to me, without translation, without explanation.
Here is one:
If I could (and I'm sure someday in the not too distant future I will) I would be reading them in front of a live audience so I could see their faces as they listen to it, to see how it makes them feel, to know if it moves them like it does me, or just to get over my public speaking jitters.
