As the year draws to a close, it's a time of reflection and anticipation. Looking back at the New Year's resolutions I set for myself at the start of 2023, I'm filled with a sense of accomplishment and wonder. It's a journey that underscores a powerful truth: To reach our destinations, we must first know where we're headed and why. Understanding our 'where' and 'why' is the beacon that guides us, and the Universe orchestrates the 'how'.
This doesn't imply passivity on our part; action is a vital component of manifestation. We must actively create and open pathways for the Universe's guidance to flow through. And when we embark on this journey, two things become essential: staying open to possibilities and expecting remarkable outcomes. Our minds may be finite, but the Universe's intelligence is boundless, brimming with divine surprises we might never have imagined.
Reflecting on my resolutions, two stand out: increasing my social media presence and venturing into professional writing. The 'how' was unclear at the outset, but that never deterred me. I took the initial steps as they appeared, and the results have been nothing short of miraculous. Today, I'm the proud author of a self-published book of poems available on Amazon - Aligned: Poetic Revelations of my Mind, Body and Soul, the creator of a thriving blog - Student of Earth, with nearly 40 articles - one featured on my mentor Mike Dooley's blog with over a million subscribers - and the owner of a budding YouTube channel - Linda Danon, with five videos and many more in the pipeline.
These accomplishments, though unplanned in their specifics, were outcomes I had always hoped for. They remind me of the power of setting intentions and being receptive to the universe's infinite wisdom and unexpected pathways.
As we stand at the cusp of a new year, I encourage you all to set goals, dreams, and intentions. But more importantly, remain open to the incredible surprises life has in store. Embrace change, let the universe guide you, and prepare to be amazed by the unfolding journey.
